This Saturday, April 1st, the O2 Arena in London, the vacant WBA Continental Heavyweight title will be filled in what looks to be an explosive clash.

British champion Fabio Wardley takes on hard-hitting Michael Coffie who despite his three losses presents a clear and present danger to the undefeated fringe contender. The fight will be the co-feature of Anthony Joshua's return to the ring against Jermaine Franklin.

Fabio Wardley 15-0 (14 KOs) is one of the rising stars of the British Heavyweight Boxing scene, having turned pro after just four white collar fights and winning both the English and British titles. The Ipswich puncher has impressed fans and pundits alike with his power, speed and skill, stopping 14 of his 15 opponents so far. His last fight was a stunning third-round knockout of Nathan Gorman, who was widely regarded as one of his toughest tests to date.

Michael Coffie 13-3 (10 KOs) is a former US Marine who started boxing at the age of 30 and quickly made a name for himself with a string of knockout wins, including a vicious uppercut stoppage of Darmani Rock. The Bronx native has a formidable physique and a heavy-handed style that has earned him 10 knockouts in 13 wins. His only losses came against boxer-punchers Jonathan Rice twice and Armenia’s Gurgen Hovhannisyan, who will be facing former IBF Champion Charles Martin next.

Both Wardley and Coffie are confident of victory and have exchanged some words in recent interviews. Wardley said he is on a "crazy journey" from unknown to boxing star and he is ready to show his skills and heart against Coffie. He also said he is not intimidated by Coffie's background or experience, and he will prove that he is the better fighter on Saturday night.

Coffie said he respects Wardley's achievements but he is not impressed by his level of opposition. He said he's faced tougher fighters than Wardley and he will expose his weaknesses and flaws. He also said he is not afraid to travel to Wardley's backyard and he will silence his fans with a knockout in London.
