Ipswich, UK top heavyweight Fabio Wardley is gearing up for a significant fight against David Adeleye in Saudia Arabia. The 28-year-old, with an impressive record of 16-0 and 15 knockouts, will take on Adeleye (12-0, 11 KO) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on October 28.

A scuffle broke out between the two camps at the the press conference. Wardley seemed to have sustained a cut in the exchange.

As for the specific titles that will be on the line, it's yet to be confirmed if Wardley's British heavyweight title will be up for grabs. Wardley expressed his desire for a unification fight, stating, "I want all the marbles to be in - I want to throw my WBA in, I want his WBO in there, I want the British in there." However, he emphasized that even if the titles aren't at stake, it won't diminish the significance of the bout.

Wardley is confident in his abilities and predicted a stoppage victory, saying, "I see it going the way my other 15 fights have gone. He'll be gone inside the distance, most definitely."

When asked about his readiness to challenge top-tier heavyweights like Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, Oleksandr Usyk, and Deontay Wilder, Wardley believes he's getting closer. He stated, "I don't think I'm far off. Give it another 18 months or so, a couple more tests, and I think I'll be ready to step in with some high-level guys."

Wardley had originally been scheduled to face Olympic bronze medalist Frazer Clarke before the fight was canceled. There were even discussions about potentially holding the bout at Portman Road, home of Ipswich Town Football Club, where Wardley's promoter, Eddie Hearn, had met with the club's chief executive, Mark Ashton, earlier in the year.
