Heavyweight prospect Frazer Clarke secured another victory with a second-round TKO over late replacement opponent Bogdan Dinu on Saturday night at the Manchester Arena.

Originally slated to fight American veteran Devin Booker, Clarke instead faced the Romanian Dinu, who came in on short notice due to Booker's illness.

In the opening rounds, Clarke probed with his jab, while Dinu threw a few wild attacks that missed their mark. Clarke landed a few good body shots, but Dinu was able to partially block his right hand attacks.

In the third round, Dinu quit between rounds due to pain in his ribs, giving Clarke the TKO victory.

The victory brings Clarke's record to 6-0 with 5 knockouts. Although Dinu was a last-minute replacement and not an ideal opponent for Clarke, the win is still a positive step for the 29-year-old who is looking to make his mark in the heavyweight division.

Clarke's promoter Ben Shalom has indicated that Clarke may be back in the ring on May 6th, but no opponent named.

Looking ahead, Clarke has his sights set on a showdown with fellow British heavyweight prospect Fabio Wardley. However, with Wardley currently signed with Matchroom Boxing and Clarke with Boxxer, it may be difficult to make that fight happen.
