Hollywood, Florida, USA – Gustavo Trujillo needed less than two rounds to deal with Donald Haynesworth on Sunday, October 18, stopping the American with a right hand at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

The Cuban heavyweight improved to 13–0 (12 KOs) with the second-round TKO on The Heavyweight Factory’s Fist of Fury 13 card. Haynesworth fell to 19–11–1 (17 KOs).

Scheduled for ten rounds, the fight never threatened to go that far. Trujillo did the damage in the opening round before finding the right hand that finished the job in the second.

It was his fourth boxing victory of 2026, keeping him busy as his team looks for a bigger assignment.

“I’m ready for bigger challenges,” Trujillo said in a statement carried by FightNews.

Trujillo entered the bout at No. 13 in the WBO heavyweight rankings. His unbeaten record and finishing power have earned him that foothold, but Haynesworth was a veteran with ten defeats going in. Beating him quickly was the job here; a stronger opponent would tell us more.

Manager Abe Swidan wants to move Trujillo towards tougher fights. No next opponent has been announced.
