Chicago, IL, USA (October 21, 2023) - It's being reported in Boxing circles that Former World Title Challenger Kubrat Pulev 29-3 (14 KOs) will be making his return to the ring on December 2nd in Chicago, Illinois at a venue yet to be confirmed.

Pulev was last seen losing a close and what some would say controversial decision to Top Heavyweight Journeyman Derek Chisora in July of last year at London's O2 Arena. His apparent opponent will be Poland's Andrzej Wawrzyk 34-2 (20 KOs), who was knocked out by Michal Boloz in 2022 and stopped by Alexander Povetkin all the way back in 2013.

While information is scarce at this point, it would appear that Pulev intends to once again make waves in the heavyweight division and this is a tune-up before stepping back up to higher competition.
