Martin Bakole is one of the most avoided heavyweights in boxing today. The Congolese fighter, who lives and trains in Scotland, has an impressive record of 18 wins and only one loss, with 13 knockouts. He is also ranked at the top by the WBA (#2) and has his eyes on a world title shot.

But before he can challenge for the ultimate prize, he has to face a tough test on April 22nd in Rzeszow, Poland. He will take on Igor Shevadzutskiy, also known as the Ukrainian Hulk, who is undefeated in 10 fights with 8 knockouts.

Shevadzutskiy is a massive specimen who stands at 6'7" and weighs over 250 pounds. He has been dubbed the Ukrainian Hulk for his muscular physique and brute strength. He has also beaten some notable opponents, such as veteran Kevin Johnson, who he outscored last year.

Bakole is not intimidated by Shevadzutskiy's size or power. He has faced better opposition, such as fellow contender Michael Hunter, who he lost to by TKO in 2018. Since then, Bakole has bounced back with six consecutive wins, including impressive victories over Mariusz Wach in Poland and Tony Yoka in Paris.

Bakole believes he has the skills and experience to overcome Shevadzutskiy and a win will bring him closer to his dream of a world title. He has a solid jab, fast hands, good footwork and devastating power. He also has a great trainer /manager in Billy Nelson and a supportive team behind him.

Bakole vs Shevadzutskiy will be featured on the upcoming co-promotion between Knockout Promotions and Boxxer. The event will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK and ESPN+ in the US.

It should be explosive for as long as it last. Will Bakole contimue to prove his worth as a top contender or will Shevadzutskiy spoil his plans with an upset? Tune in on April 22nd to find out!
