Mahmoud Charr claims to have suffered a left bicep injury thus cancelling his WBA regular heavyweight title defence against Kubrat Pulev next Saturday.

The contest was confirmed at a press conference in Sofia and was attended by both boxers, with the fight due to take place at Arena Sofia.

After reclaiming the secondary title via court action, Mahmoud Charr will defend against the former two time unified title challenger.
