Glasgow, Scotland - At the Hydro Arena in Glasgow, rising British heavyweight star Moses Itauma 12-0 (10 KOs) continued his impressive ascent with a dominant second-round stoppage of American veteran Mike Balogun 21-2, (16 KOs).

From the start, Itauma established control with sharp jabs to the body. Balogun, also a southpaw, attempted to rough things up but was caught and dropped in the first round. He rose and survived, but clearly looked shaken.

In Round 2, Itauma struck again, flooring Balogun twice more — the final time with a clean check hook that ended the bout midway through Round 2.

Now 12-0, Itauma continues to show composure beyond his years. His performance underlined both his sharp boxing IQ and finishing instincts. The win adds fuel to the idea that he's one of the most exciting heavyweight contenders in the world today.

Itauma has expressed interest in stepping up his competition. He mentioned Martin Bakole as a possible opponent but noted that recent poor outings have lowered Bakole’s stock.

Still early in his career, Itauma has now scored ten stoppages in twelve fights and looks more dangerous each time out. After tonight, it’s clear: he's ready for a serious test.
