Artem Suslenkov Stops Artur Mann in Three to Retain WBA Continental Gold Title

Artem Suslenkov Stops Artur Mann in Three to Retain WBA Continental Gold Title

Artem Suslenkov stopped Artur Mann in the third round in Serpukhov, Russia, retaining his WBA Continental Gold heavyweight title.

A Russian Contender’s Rise

Artem Suslenkov developed largely on Russian cards after beginning his professional career in 2018. His progression took him through regional opposition before longer fights against experienced international heavyweights.

Wins over Bilal Laggoune, Christian Hammer, Jack Mulowayi and Agron Smakici broadened that experience. He also stopped Artur Mann at an IBA-promoted event in Serpukhov in 2026.

The Joyce Breakthrough

Suslenkov faced Joe Joyce at Moscow’s VTB Arena on July 11, 2026. The former WBO interim champion brought a much stronger résumé than his earlier opponents, including victories over Daniel Dubois and Joseph Parker.

Suslenkov won by eleventh-round technical knockout, the biggest result of his professional career. The Russian Boxing Federation lists his professional record as 15–0 (10 KOs), separate from appearances in other formats. No next fight has been confirmed.
