Hughie Fury

Hughie Fury won super-heavyweight gold at the 2012 World Youth Championships before turning professional in 2013. The Manchester heavyweight built his boxing around height, movement and distance.

Parker, Pulev and Povetkin

Joseph Parker beat Fury by majority decision in their September 2017 WBO title fight in Manchester. Fury returned to stop Sam Sexton and win the British title in 2018, then lost twelve-round decisions to Kubrat Pulev and Alexander Povetkin.

He overcame a cut to beat Mariusz Wach in December 2020 and stopped Christian Hammer in October 2021, when Hammer did not continue after five rounds.

A return after illness

Health problems, including long Covid, interrupted Fury’s career and a planned fight with Michael Hunter did not take place. He returned in April 2024 with a points win over Kostiantyn Dovbyshchenko, then beat Patrick Korte and Christian Thun.

A win over Dan Garber in 2025 was followed by a stoppage of Michael Webster in Rotterdam on November 29. Webster did not continue after the first round.

Fury is 31–3 (18 KOs), with no next fight announced.
