Nelson “The Albanian Eagle” Hysa turned professional in 2022 after an amateur career, beginning his rise at 37. The Shkodër heavyweight built an unbeaten record across European cards, with experienced opponents including Danny Williams and Pavel Sour.
He collected UBO International, WBO European and WBO Global honours along the way. Wins over Ariel Bracamonte and Patrick Korte brought him wider attention, with Korte stopped in two rounds at Portman Road in June 2025.
Hysa later beat Abel Pesut and stopped Thomas Narmo in round two at The O2 in August 2026. His record stands at 25–0 (23 KOs).
He is scheduled to challenge WBC champion Agit Kabayel at Düsseldorf’s Merkur Spiel-Arena on November 28, 2026, live on DAZN. At 42, Hysa faces by far the biggest assignment of his professional career.
