Tom Schwarz turned professional in Germany in 2013 and built an unbeaten record on the European circuit, collecting WBO Youth and Inter-Continental honours.
He beat Senad Gashi by sixth-round disqualification in Berlin in April 2018 and reached 24–0 before meeting Tyson Fury in Las Vegas in June 2019. Fury stopped him in the second round.
Schwarz returned with wins over Radek Varak and Ilja Mezencev. Later victories included Muhammed Ali Durmaz, Kostiantyn Dovbyshchenko and Christian Demaj.
Gashi won their sanctioned rematch by unanimous decision over ten rounds in Braunschweig on May 3, 2025, leaving Schwarz at 29–2 (20 KOs). A separate December 2024 meeting was reported as unsanctioned and is excluded from that professional total.
No next sanctioned fight has been announced.
