Hovhannisyan 6-0 (6 KOs), originally from Yerevan, Armenia, now resides in Los Angeles, California. His last bout on May 31 saw him stopping Luis Pascual after the second round at the same venue, Caribe Royale Resort.
In his previous fight on January 4, Hovhannisyan delivered a fifth-round knockout against Colby Madison, further cementing his reputation. Jalolov, notably, went on to win a gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics later that year.
Robert Hall Jr. 14-3 (11 KOs), hailing from Johnson City, Tennessee, will be looking to rebound after two consecutive losses. Hall's last bout on April 18 resulted in a unanimous decision loss to unbeaten prospect Roney Hines. Before that, he gatekeeper Jerry Forrest on September 15, also losing by unanimous decision. Despite these setbacks, the 32-year-old Hall has shown resilience, splitting his last six bouts.
The event will also feature a heavyweight clash between David Garcia (6-0, 3 KOs) from Crescent City and Dominic Hardy (6-2, 4 KOs) of Riverside, Illinois. This six-round bout promises to add further excitement to an already stacked card.
Gurgen Hovhannisyan aims to continue his knockout streak and further work to establish his dominance in the division. Meanwhile, Robert Hall, Jr. is determined to prove his mettle and return to winning ways.
LAST MINUTE NOTICE: Hovhannisyan has suffered an injury in training. The bout is cancelled.
