Sanel Hasanovic Stops Dinel Fejzić in Management Debut
Negotino, North Macedonia – Sanel Hasanovic made a winning start under new manager Keith Sullivan on Saturday, stopping late replacement Dinel Fejzić in the second round at Sport Hall Mladost.
The Serbian heavyweight moved to 11-1-1 (9 KOs) on the Balkan Boxing 13 card, which was televised by Arena Fight. Fejzić stepped in after Hasanovic’s original opponent, Andre Joumbi Ojena, was replaced shortly before the show.
It was an assignment Hasanovic was expected to win. He got it done quickly, but said afterwards that an injury and the late change of opponent had complicated his preparations.
“I’m happy with the win,” Hasanovic said in a statement supplied by his team. “It was a good experience and I’m glad I got the job done.”
The 27-year-old plans to take a short break to recover before returning to training. “I’m hungry for more fights and bigger challenges,” he added.

Looking for the next step
Sullivan says Hasanovic is currently without a promotional agreement and is looking for a partner to help move him towards stronger opposition.
According to his team, Hasanovic has gained experience in camps with Oleksandr Usyk, Anthony Joshua, Filip Hrgovic, Murat Gassiev and Agit Kabayel. Those rounds are useful preparation; tougher fights will show how much of it he can carry into his own career.
Sullivan also manages unbeaten heavyweight Pryce Taylor, who faces Tsotne Rogava for the vacant NABF title in Albuquerque on November 7.
