Tony Yoka Stops Patrick Korte in Round One

Lagos, Nigeria - Tony Yoka needed very little time to take care of business.

From the opening bell, Yoka established full control behind a sharp jab and straight right hands, turning the bout into target practice almost immediately. Patrick Korte struggled to close distance or disrupt Yoka’s rhythm as the French heavyweight dictated range and tempo.

The end came swiftly when Yoka landed a clean right uppercut that dropped Korte heavily. The German fighter was unable to beat the count, prompting the referee to wave it off.
